Spring is shyly and quite reluctantly making an appearance here in the Midwest. I believe that the Red Bud trees are a full month later in blooming than last year. We are thoroughly enjoying the color and warmer temperatures though, late or no.

We are all taking deep breaths of rainy, spring-freshened green-growing-things air and laughing together outdoors.
It just doesn't get much better than this.
The boys and I took a stroll through our little wooded area this afternoon and had fun laughing and playing with the May Apples that are abundant there. Here's Josiah....
