Seeking Joy?

I'm still around~ just completed a super-busy and blessed, but amazingly refreshing summer. We began our "official" school year yesterday.... I've nine in school this year, so I find myself with more reasons than ever before to "lean on the Everlasting Arms" and find Him faithful once again and in new ways.

If you have a few minutes, I highly recommend Monica's post "When I pursued Joy." I have been contemplating this very issue of late....

...finding myself pulled up short and wondering if the Lord is truly "enough for me." How ashamed I am of the many times I seek joy, comfort and heart-satisfaction in places other than the Lord.

    I'm so glad you had a relaxing, fun summer! I did miss you, though! Can't wait to see the pictures...we started school last week with seven. This year I have cut back on a lot, and we are all enjoying it so far. Hope you have a good week resting and trusting in Him. I will have to go read the article!
