an you tell we are ready for snow here? The children started with "regular" snowflakes, made with my sweet mother who came to our house to teach "Five in a Row" with the grade-schoolers.... they had so much fun!

And then we saw these snowflakes! Wow!

Amazingly enough, they are not difficult to make at all.... Daniel helped make this one.

You can go here to see how to make them yourselves~ have fun, but don't blame me if you end up with a blizzard!
Now if the snowflakes we made would just call their friends.....

Oh my daughter will love making these. Thanks for the information.
ReplyDeleteI love that snowflake, looks complicated but actually quite simple :) maybe one to make with the guides (girl scouts) next year :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool looking snowflake! We will definitely have to make some, since paper snowflakes are all we see down here in South Georgia! We just enjoy the snowy white cotton fields instead! They are very beautiful and not as messy!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! What fun memories for the children and for your mom. I thought this was a cute take on the paper snowflake idea too, in case you need more "snow" in your house: http://www.craftstylish.com/item/28838/how-to-make-a-snowstorm
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the snowflakes in the window.
