the time of my life....

me: snatching a few minutes to sew after the school day was done...

9yo Josiah: "Are you having fun, Mom?"

me: "Oh yes!"

Josiah: "Are you having the time of your life?"

me: pause. "Why yes, yes I am!"

Josiah: "You always have the time of your life, don't you?"

Of course I don't always have "the time of my life," but I'm glad he has that impression anyway!

    And that is exactly why blogging is such a blessing -- otherwise you would likely not have recorded that sweet comment and it would have eventually faded from memory.

    Also, it strikes me that we are having the "time of our lives" right now, right in the midst of the busyness and the trials and disappointments and challenges and joys and blessings and even more BUSYNESS! Good to stop and let that sink in!
