Well...that clip was powerful! I wasn't quite sure what to make of it though....so I did some searching about the author and the book and it seems like it is probably a great read and encouraging people away from *stuff*. Although, I *do* hope he is not about "social justice"...where the govt forces it upon you...but rather, I hope he encourages Christians to give from their hearts...I strive for my family to live a simple life, as much as possible. It's so hard though...when is too much, too much? Is it sinful to have a few nice things? It's so hard to know what is right sometimes. If you read it, I would love to hear what you thought about it! Will you do a review or at least mention what you thought of it in a post? I would truly appreciate it! :)
Yes I would love to know what you think of the book too~Thank you for your sweet comments~~Cinnamon
~Katy, I agree... I don't think he is advocating "social justice" at all~ just a challenge for Christians to live lives committed to the Lord, holding our "stuff" with open hands. I agree, finding a balance can be hard, but just the desire to do so is glorifying to the Lord, don't you think?~Cinnamon, yes, I'll be sure to report here when I have had a chance to read it!~susan
