That's Pinteresting!

I tried.  I really did.  I kept hearing how addictive Pinterest was...

pages and pages of beautiful images.... decorating ideas, craft projects, luscious quilts, fashion inspiration, quotes, typography, recipes, gift ideas, tutorials, photography inspiration....  oh. my. goodness. !!

Yep~ count me among the addicted.

Here is just a sampling of some of the things that I pinned or repinned this past week...

Interested in Pinterest but not sure where to begin?  Here is a fabulous "beginner's article."  Here's another great article done by Katy at the Daily Digi.

Here is a link to my Pinterest page.  If you need an invite, leave me a comment below, including your email address, or email me and I'll send one to you.

Happy pinning!

  1. Your choices are beautiful. We are like minded, friend. But I WILL NOT go there! You can't make me! lol! I would never get off that site!I have seen it.Too inspiring! Like a kid in a candy shop.

Same with Facebook...I (not everyone, but I) can't do it. I've tried and I just don't have the self control, and the back bone when my 'audience' is not friendly to my Christian world view. (Often. Mostly all unsaved family on there.) I peek on it randomly to keep an eye on the teens who use it! Period!

But blogging is my way of getting words out. It is accountability, ministry, and my story. JMHO!

And I give grace! I do see why you would love Pinterest. It is like your beautiful scrap book journals opened up! No scissors or glue! So you go girl! But I'm sticking with blog love!
ps thanks for the fitness site.

  2. Hey there, Pam!

You know, I never have really "made friends" with Facebook either. I do keep my acct there 'cause I do have a few friends who like to contact me that way, but I am *forever* forgetting to look at it! LOL!

I do have more "down time" right now since I am relegated to crutches for the next 6 weeks, but I am striving to use Pinterest as a reward, not as a time-waster! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL! Now if I can just make even a small portion of the projects that I have "pinned!"

Have a great afternoon, my friend!

  3. Susan~I've peeked over there . Fun, fun, fun.

I'll just peek at yours cause I love what you have on there. I agree with Pam, I'd be on there waaaay too long.

That sewing room could be your house. They look so much alike!

Sooo happy you lost the weight!! Reward yourself - sounds good!!

After years and years and years of not being able to lose weight I found out it was the gluten. Now my weight loss is much easier....still plenty to take off yet though :-/

  5. Hey there Cinnamon!

Isn't it interesting how something "little" like gluten can cause so many problems?

I didn't have time to comment when you posted it, but those photos of you and Rosie are adorable! Please tell me that you are going to frame one or two of those!

    Have a fabulous Thursday!

  6. ~Michelle... thanks, friend! Gotta' be careful with that Pinterest, don't we? Best in small doses and as a "reward" after other responsibilities are done, right?
