I can fly!!!

Well, sort of!  I'm back from our big adventures in Arizona and Utah and lived to tell about it!

I'll be back soon with lots of photos and stories, but I am super-tired now so I'm headed to bed.

Here are a few photos from (for me!) the highlight of our trip: skydiving!

Me getting ready to jump tandem with my tandem instructor Adam.  He was fabulous! It is amazing to me, looking at these photos, that you can't tell how super, super nervous I was at this point.  Adam is a professional skydiver (who knew that there were pro skydivers?!! Not me!) Anyway, he has tandem jumped with beginners like me more than 2,000 times, in addition to who-knows-how-many solo jumps, and was so reassuring.

Here I am waiting for my father, who jumped with me!  So exciting!

I'll be back as soon as I can with more details and lots more photos too. We have a lot going on this week since our oldest son Nate is coming home for a visit starting tomorrow, along with the young lady that he is courting!  So excited about our time together.

So, if I don't get back here for a few days, don't worry about me... I will be back!

Blessings to you, my friends!

Rejoicing in facing fears this week, with God's strength~ Oh! How good He is to us, yes?

  3. Wow! Can;t wait to see the rest of the pictures. I'm afraid of heights, so I'll never jump out of a plane :-)

    1. I'm planning to post pictures soon.... never say "never!" If you would have told me a year ago that I'd be jumping out of a plane, I *never* would have believed it! It was so fun!
