Spring has Sprung!

I do believe that spring has sprung here!

In just one day's time, our fruit trees went from this,

to this!  So, so lovely!

The honeybees were in heaven!  The whole tree was humming... unfortunately, it would seem that bees are camera shy!  I tried and tried to capture them and only ended up with this shot.  Some nature photographer I'd be!

As I mentioned in my last post, we were super-blessed to have our oldest son Nate, who is a chaplain's assistant in the Army at Ft. Benning, GA, home last week with the young lady that he is courting!  Oh my, did we have fun!

Aren't they an adorable couple?!!

The boys are *so* happy to have their big brother home!  There was swinging...

and barrel rolling,  hey don't laugh, its great cheap fun on the farm!  LOL!

And, to top it all off, we have baby goats!  Yay!

I am totally smitten with these little baby goats!

Yesterday we took them out in the field... I wanted to try to capture their silly jumping.  They are so funny, randomly leaping for joy...

A final group hug before bidding goodbye to Nate and Jamie...

Back soon with photos from our trip to Arizona and Utah... including the much anticipated (LOL!) full skydiving report!  Whoo Hoo!

Happy spring, friends!  Isn't God good?

  1. Oh what a sweet couple they are. Isn't it fun getting to know a dtr~in~love to be? I hope we get to hear all about the courting story someday :-)

Looking forward to your sky diving report :-/

Yes spring has sprung here too. We're HOT! but loving it.

  2. What a fun time! I like the cute goats, too. They do look like they are giddy. :) Would love to hear the courting story, too. So interested in all that as our girls get older. Yes, our whole family is waiting to see skydiving! You are great! Keep us posted...

  3. Not one bud blooming here, but I'm hoping for one more big snow anyway. :) The jumping goats are adorable!

  4. we had a preview of spring this past week, with weather in the 60's! which for Maine and it
only being March is very odd!! but I loved it. Sadly though when I woke this morning there was snow on the ground.., but like we say here in Maine " if you don't like the weather wait a minute

  5. They are such an adorable couple...what a beautiful family you have! Oh, I love the baby goats. Their frolicking is adorable!

Spring has not sprung here, but your pictures make me wish it would!!

    Have a blessed day!

  6. What a fun post my friend! How wonderful to have had that special time with Nate and the young lady he is getting to know...God is Good. And Spring...well...soon, I'm thinking. I heard the frist song bird the other morning, and the trees are budding, but no blooms yet. :) And your flight...yes, I am looking forward to the full report.

    Have a great day Susan!

  7. SO fun! I really can't wait to hear about sky diving. My hubs wants to do that one so much. Eek. Can't wait to hear! :)
