Good Morning Susan!

I feel as though we are chatting together over a cup of coffee when I visit your blog. It is always a blessing to my heart to stop by! :)

I find that our children are like mirrors into our own sinful hearts. God uses them to reveal sin in us! I love it that you referred to the Lord as your first focus...when it comes to child training we can so often get that backwards...OUR reputation has NOTHING to do with it! We are all, as you said, WORKS IN PROGRESS...God is Faithful and so good to us, isn't He?

I am planning to link back to you here in a future post I am writing...God has given you much wisdom to reflect Him in this series.

I have been praying for you as you share this verbally...thanks for taking the time to write it out for us to enjoy as well!

Thoughtful post. I like what you said about looking to Jesus for what He did to disciple others. I also like what you said about being fully engaged with your children. I think that is a weakness of mine...I get worn down or I get busy or it's just chaotic and I don't fully listen and interact.
